Wave freestyle mast – 85% carbon prepreg. 100% Made in Italy
Sizes 340-370-400-430
The new MX 85 is an 85% Wave-Freestyle mast derived from the most sold masts of our range, the stilo 288. It has received few improvements such a slight reduction in weight , a shorter junction and a new resin we developped to impregnate the carbon fibers we use..
This is an excellent mast and has just few grams more of its big brother the MX 100 yet the performances and the range of use are similar. This level of performance has been achieved using top quality carbon fibres and optimising the whole design. . The mast is extremely easy to control, making reliability, responsiveness and dynamic reflex its key features.
The bottom is coated with a protective transparent foil to protect the mast from UV rays, scratches and dents and reduces the wear of graphics. The junction has an EVA clean cap to help preventing sand to stuck the top and bottom together.
The curve is a constant curve that can fit perfectly the vast majority of the available modern sails .
The MX 70 is the perfect choice when durability and the same quality is required on a mast at an affordable price. This mast is completely made in Italy.
The curve is a constant curve i. e it shares the same bend curves as the Mx100 and Mx85 that can perfectly fit the vast majority of the available modern sails . For sure you’ll completely appreciate the difference from other masts on the water.ottom is coated with a protective transparent foil to protect the mast from scratches and dents plus reducing the wear of graphics caused by UV rays. The junction has an EVA clean cap to help preventing sand to stuck the top and bottom together.

Technolgy
MaverX are not just another “branded mast”, the parent company Reglass are responsible for making most of the top end, high carbon percentage masts for the worlds leading brands. If anyone knows about masts it is Reglass.
MaverX use exclusive carbons to get the best possible performance. Not content with “buying in” someone else’s pre preg they actually make it themselves in a highly controlled environment.
So having established that Maverx masts use the most advanced carbons available, does it really matter, can you feel the difference? In short – yes, on the Stilo 165 the difference is in the strength compared to other masts. The Stilo 200 is exceptionally strong yet has the response equivalent of most other brands 100% carbon masts. It’s the Stilo 300 where you can really feel the difference. Rig your sail on a Stilo 300 and it does alter the feel of the rig compared to any other 100% carbon mast. The sail sets the same but it will feel more lively and direct, a very similar feeling you get if you change from a standard construction board to the “pro version”, it’s the same board but it feels more “alive and responsive”.
