Jon Pyzel was brought up in Santa Barbara CA and started surfing while in high school. Jon soon became hooked on surfing and was riding boards shaped by Carpinteria and Rincon Designs legend Matt Moore. Matt put Jon on his team and always took time to explain the finer points of surfboard shaping and surfboard design with Jon often watching-on as Matt shaped his boards.

Jon’s signature fin set has a good all-round template that’ll work in most conditions from waist high to as big as you dare. Developed alongside the Pyzel team, this fin set excels in powerful waves projecting you into your next move and delivering copious amounts of speed and drive.
