Feeling: Light and neutral
Goya Surf Handing Characteristics
The Banzai Surf outline is higher aspect (longer and narrower), with a shorter boom length than the Banzai Pro and Banzai Max. Combining this with the lower and more central lift position gives riders a neutral feel which give the sails core values of control and manoeuvrability. This neutral feeling is what makes the Surf feel so lightweight in your hands, the power never pulls too hard but there is plenty there when needed.

Goya Surf Pro Carbon Construction
- Double stitching around the main window.
- Dacron Leech edge reinforcement.
- Folded rear edge on mast sleeve to prevent fraying.
Main Window Panel – 6 mil Bi-Ply. Gives a softer feel, improves sail flex and reduces creasing therefore prolonging life. Made up of two 3 mil PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) film layers. UV inhibitors increase the lifespan of the film by absorbing the UV without effecting the material.
Upper Window Panels – 4 mil quality monofilm
Upper Colour Body Panels – 1.5 mil super low stretch warp carbon fibre laminate. Warp carbon offers linear control of the sail whilst still having sail like characteristics such as return and small compliance. This makes the sail feel weightless, quiet and resistant to being overpowered. Transforming the feel completely.
Foot, Tack and Center Luff Panel – 2 mil Warp carbon film with X-Ply yarn to improve durability and puncture resistance. Warp Carbon has been used as its extremely strong and stretch resistant. 2 pass lamination adds to the strength UV resistance is added to prevent UV passing through meaning one side of the sail is shaded, prolonging the life. The foot panel features double the amount of carbon with it being a susceptible area for damage.
